E3 2014: Dying Light reveals trailer early, looks like adrenaline-fuled, next-gen mayhem

Techland’s latest zombie action title just might be their best yet from the looks of Waarner Bros’ Dying Light.

I’m a pretty big fan of the developer’s other zombified action titles Dead Island and its sequel, but yow does Dying Light look ten times more interesting- not to mention high-energy. Natural movement in and around Dying Light’s open world was one of the highlighted points as to this new trailer and you can certainly see why.

The player is able to move freely throughout what’s left of the city and use several modes of transportation to do so (that grappling hook looks awesome). Taking out zombies looks like a ton of fun too with many different days to approach each encounter and the ‘boss’, or jumbo zombie as I’ve been calling them, characters look like very cool elements in there to shake up the action.

Dying Light was recently bumped from 2014 to calendar 2015, but it certainly looks like it might be worth the wait. The game will be attending the E3 show in all its glory, so we’ll have more for you then.
