New screens and concept art ooze out of Grey Goo

Petroglyph’s upcoming slimy RTS Grey Goo shows off some “extremely aggressive, formless, baseless” nanites in the new screenshot roundup for the game.

For the record, I’m in the camp that says this is one to watch for 2014 and a ‘must see’ if you’re an RTS fan.

Aside from looking great, Grey Goo brings something that’s actually new to the RTS landscape. The title ‘race’, the Grey Goo, is a mass of microscopic robots that can take any shape and do just about anything. There’s absolutely noting in the history of real-time strategy that does anything like that, and it just sounds awesome.

Looks awesome too, as you can see in the screens below. Stay tuned, we’ll have plenty more before Grey Goo flops onto the PC this Autumn.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
