New trailer debuts for Shadow of Mordor with release date and pre-order bonuses

Lots of new info for Monolith and Warner Bros new Lord of the Rings title Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has arrived, headlined by a story trailer that reveals the release date for the hotly anticipated title.

So there you have it Middle-earthers, the Shadow of Mordor is set to fall on consoles and the PC this July the 10th in the UK. The game will arrive slightly earlier in the US, when it hits retail on the 7th- just in time for those (usually) dull midsummer days.

Also announced this week were the pre-order bonuses for the game. As you might expect with a ‘big title’ like this one, there are a few little goodies out there to get you to plunk down the cash for a pre-order before the game hits. Called The Dark Ranger exclusive bonus pack, this particular incentive includes “exclusive content and challenges”, including:
