Deals: Buy and register SMT IV and Fire Emblem Awakening, get $30 eShop credit

Heads up 3DS RPG fans, buy and register both Shin Megami Tensei IV and Fire Emblem Awakening on Club Nintendo and you’ll be in for a special credit on the eShop. We’re basically talking about a buy-one/get-one type deal here.

You won’t actually get one of the two 3DS RPG epics for free of course, but you will get $30 USD back in eShop credit for your registering trouble. That little exchange of funds is, basically, like getting one of the two games for free since you’ll have the thirty bones to spend all over again- just in a digital way on Nintendo’s 3DS or Wii U (yep, either console) eShop.

All you need do to take advantage of the deal is buy both games and register them on Club Nintendo by August 31st, 2013. Once you do that, you’ll get a redemption code which you’ll have till September 30th of this year to redeem and then till December 31st, 2013 to activate on your eShop account. Once you do redeem the code and add the funds to your account though, there’s no more musical chairs with dates and there’s no time limit on actually using your e-bucks to shop.

Definitely not a bad deal at all for 3DS/Wii U players and if you’re going to get both games anyway, it’s kind of a no-brainer. Actually, if you’re on the fence about one or both, this just might make your mind up for you too. Fire Emblem Awakening is available now and Shin Megami Tensei IV will be on store shelves and on the eShop on July 16th. Both titles are exclusively available on the Nintendo 3DS.

You can get some more info on the deal right here on Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei IV page.
