Petition Created To Call For Restoration Of Original Xbox One Policies

You couldn’t make it up.

In an interesting turn of events, a petition has been started to urge Microsoft to “give us back the Xbox One we were promised at E3”, and reverse the changes that they made to their online policies after E3.

The petition, which at the time of writing has over 20,000 signatures, states “This was to be the future of entertainment. A new wave of gaming where you could buy games digitally, then trade, share or sell those digital licenses. Essentially, it was Steam for Xbox. But consumers were uninformed, and railed against it, and it was taken away because Sony took advantage of consumers uncertainty. We want this back. It can’t be all or nothing, there must be a compromise.”

It’s not clear whether these are people that are in favour of the original policies or just in favour of Microsoft not having changed their minds in the first place.  It’s probably not going to change anything, but it will be interesting to see how far this goes.

Ha ha ha, I’ve been hearing about this the past few days. Pretty sad that these people are demanding Microsoft to rip them off.

What??? Sorry but that is down right stupid. I live in Saskatchewan Canada and there’s various areas around me who ONLY have dialup, this screws thousands in just mere MINUTES from where I live.
As a The Source I couldnt honestly sell them to our regulars as they are in those areas. The new policies let me and lets them enjoy the new system/games. Old policy punishes people for things beyond their control. Made PS4 sound great. New policy makes X1 better.
