Build your ride in Ride to Hell: Retribution

Ever want to build your own bike? Well it’s your lucky day then.

Ride to Hell: Retribution tells the story of a lone rider, Jake Conway, a man with either a gun in his hand or a girl on his lap (and on more than one occasion, both!) He’s on a merciless path of revenge against a brutal biker gang called The Devil’s Hand, armed to the teeth with an arsenal of deadly weapons to enact his vengeance on foot and on bike. The only law Jake answers to is his own. Hit hard, ride fast and leave ’em in the dust. Ride to Hell: Retribution is developed by Eutechnyx.

Deep Silver’s upcoming Ride to Hell: Retribution promises “almost endless” opportunities to get your hands dirty and assemble the ride of your virtual dreams as you build main character Jake Conway’s bike. Nearly every part of Jake’s bike can be tailored to your tastes, even the engine- which you’ll definitely need if you want to chase down the deadly gangs that did poor old Jake wrong.

Set in 1960’s biker culture, Ride to Hell: Retribution is one part of a brand new universe that Deep Silver has on the way. Joining the main retail release (Retribution) is a downloadable title called Route 666 and a mobile game dubbed Beatdown. When you think about it, it’s really a pretty big deal to be launching an unseen fictional universe over three games almost at the same time.

It does sound like a great premise though and I love the 60’s feel that Eutechnyx has going on in Retribution. Ride to Hell definitely has a ton of potential as a brand too as nothing like it really exists on the market today.

Whether Eutechnyx’ gritty biker saga comes through on that promise or not is something we’ll find out when the game launches for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on June 25th.
