Marvel Minimates get a little more NOW!

Marvel Comics’ re-evolution is about to get the Minimate treatment as Marvel NOW! is invading Diamond Select’s line of mini-figures.

Series 51 of the Marvel Minimates series and series 16 of Toys R Us’ exclusive series of the little guys will both be dedicated to the Marvel NOW! initiative and will include a gaggle of new characters and new looks for existing characters that’ve never gotten the Mini-treatment before.

Toys R Us’ 16th series of Minimates will include:

– Iron Man and Hulk (with R.O.B.)

– Wolverine and a Reaper

– Captain America and Scarlet Witch

– Phoenix Five Emma Frost and Colossus

Series 51 of the overall line will be found at comic shops and specialty stores and will offer:

– Superior Spider-Man and Nova (Sam Alexander)

– Shanna the She-Devil and a Reaper

– Nick Fury Jr. with Heavy SHIELD Agent (includes Commander Rogers

parts)

– Maria Hill with Heavy SHIELD Agent (rare variant)

Clear some room on the shelf (or desk, as the case may be) all of the above will be shipping in June.
