Star Trek preorder incentives go to the movies

Buy the upcoming Star Trek The Video Game, go check out the upcoming Star Trek sequel Star Trek Into Darkness for free at UK GAME Stores.

The UK retailer GAME has just announced a special preorder deal for the upcoming Star Trek The Video Game from NAMCO BANDAI. Fans who preorder (or grab the game at launch) from GAME (lotta caps in this story…) will be able to grab a free movie ticket to Star Trek Into Darkness.

Hollywood Movie Money is providing the ‘ticket’ in the form of a special code that can be redeemed at a special micro-site that the company is setting up just for the promotion. Tickets can also be gotten by simply buying Star Trek The Video Game from the retailer at launch, but fair warning- if you really want that pass for Star Trek Into Darkness you might want to go ahead and do the preorder thing anyway.

That’s basically because GAME is focusing squarely on those who order up before the game launches and there might not be all that many codes left if you don’t.

Star Trek The Video Game is set to launch for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. The game sets the crew of the Enterprise against the reptilian Gorn on April 26th.

Star Trek Into Darkness the film beams into theaters on April 7th.
