Lex Luthor suits up for Injustice

Clad in a very cool riff on his classic green and purple power-armor, Superman’s main foil returns for another go around with the Man of Steel (and everybody else) in the newest trailer for NetherRealm’s Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Every time I get a look at Injustice it looks better and better. NetherRealm looks like it’s not only putting together a terrific take on the DCU, but maybe one of the better takes on Superheroes in general that fighting game fans have seen in a long while.

As a big time comics fan, the relatively heavy story elements alone are making me take notice of this one. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that NetherRealm (the team behind Mortal Kombat) are crafting one seriously nice looking game either.

Injustice: Gods Among Us arrives for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U on April 16th.
