Immortals Fenyx Rising art book coming up

Dark Horse and Ubisoft will be detailing the forthcoming world of Immortals Fenyx Rising with a brand new art book.

Rise ye Fenyx

Announced not that long ago, one of Ubisoft’s first next generation games will be the greek-themed Immortals Fenyx Rising. The game feels thus far like a modern Kid Icarus, and centers on familiar themes of mythology.

There’s winged-hero, that’s Fenyx, monsters galore, and a trip across the lands of greek lore. That’ll include everything from the shores of paradise to Mount Olympus itself.

From what we’ve seen so far, Fenyx Rising is looking like a great-looking title as well. And those visuals will be the center point of Dark Horse’s latest announcement, an art book based on the game.

The creative team of Ubisoft Quebec presents a fantastical world based on mythological tales, rife with creatures such as the bestial minotaur, gigantic cyclops, evil chimera, ferocious harpies, and the terrifying Medusa. This volume offers an inside look at the craft behind the massive and magical land, the Golden Isle. Readers will find themselves taking part in a heroic journey that spans the lush paradisiacal lands of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, through the scarred battlefield and fortress of Ares, the god of war. Up Mount Olympos and down into the darkest corners of the underworld. Not only does this book lend insights into designs of Fenyx, a new winged Greek hero, with their legendary weapons and armors, but also the environments that players will explore, the creatures they will encounter and—most importantly—the gods themselves, who seek aid against the deadliest titan and father of all monsters, Typhon!
