No, there’s no SDCC this year, but Diamond Select will still be producing its list of exclusive items. Godzilla and Iron Giant kick off the list of reveals.
Who needs a con?
Are comic conventions even necessary if all you’re looking to get out of them are some exclusives? Honestly, probably not. Because if you’re not really into the experience of something like SDCC, then all you really need is a link and an online sale to get the goods.
Fortunately, in the face of the coronavirus forced-shutdown of San Diego’s show next month, that’s just what DST has done. Diamond has announced that its list of exclusives will still be shipping, and you’ll be able to get them all online or at your local comics shop (if they’re open).
So far, we’ve seen a bunch of announcements, including some big names. You can find everything announced up to now in the list below, with all of it shipping this summer.
The Mandalorian Gets an Upgrade for SDCC 2020!
- Comic Con International in San Diego has gone digital-only this year, but the exclusives are as real as ever! Now offered through gentlegiantltd.com, this 1/6 scale, approximately 7-inch bust of the Mandalorian features him in his updated MK3 Beskar armor, holding his disruptor rifle at the ready.
