Factory Entertainment announces high-end Aquaman movie trident

If you’re a big time Aqua-fan, then you’re going to be happy with Factory Entertainment’s latest announcement. The company has a replica of Aquaman’s trident on tap.

King of the sea

One of the more hotly anticipated superhero films coming up is director James Wan’s Aquaman. The movie stars Jason Momoa once again as the underwater superhero. Unlike Justice League though, this looks to be an adventure that could finally see him ascending the throne.

Also involved are enemies Black Manta and Aquaman’s brother Orm, as well as Mera who’s played by Amber Herd. From the trailers, it looks like it could be another DC film in the vein of Wonder Woman too, which is a good thing.

Factory Entertainment is on board as a licensor, and they’ve announced I have to imagine will be the singular coolest item from the film. That’d be Aquaman’s trident, which is apparently a focus of the film (according to the company). And man, is it a heavy duty collectible.

Copied directly from the original prop with exacting attention to detail, this stunning 72-inch heavy duty replica is moulded out of solid metal and features Atlantean script on the shaft as seen in the film. Each replica comes in 3 sections which are easily assembled via an integrated threaded mechanism.

In addition to that, the piece will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a display plaque. Hopefully that’ll mean you can hang it up, cause this’d look pretty great hanging in a collector’s den.

Set for shipping this coming winter, you can place your pre-orders right now. The trident will cost you $399.99 USD.
