Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect hits the App Store

SoA finally gets a game with The Prospect’s first episode, now available on the Apple App Store.

Planned to be a series of ten episodes total, The Prospect is an interactive adventure game from Orpheus Interactive. The new title puts gamers in the boots of the TV show’s character of Alex “Tig” Trager, who’s voiced by the same actor who portrayed him on the super-popular FX Network series that just wrapped up last year.

You’ll visit some new locations in the game that weren’t on the show, as well as ones that you’ll definitely recognize if you’re a fan. As for what you’ll be doing exactly we don’t know, but the press release promises both “new and familiar settings and intrigue within the Sons of Anarchy universe”, and I assume there’ll be plenty of riding and scrapping involved.

Not a fan of the show? That’s okay too, as the game was crafted to be compelling for fans and non-fans alike. So even if you don’t know a ‘club’ from a club, you might find something to like here.

Episode 1 will run you only $1.99 USD too, which is a pretty low buy-in to be completely honest, with the additional 9 episodes coming at a later date. Also coming at a later date are PC, Mac, and Android versions of the game, so if you’re a fan and a gamer playing on one of those platforms don’t worry, you won’t be left out of the clubhouse.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
