The biggest presences at the DC Collectibles booth at Toy Fair this year was undoubtably the one-two punch of Icons and Batman: The Animated Series. That’s not to say that there wasn’t plenty of other stuff to keep fans happy though.

Subscription box service ComicConBox is set to pack-in one very cool-looking Justice League exclusive in March.

The multimedia assault is here for DC’s newest animated film Justice League: Gods and Monsters, and it brings an alternate look at Superman with the Son of Zod in a debut issue that fans of the DC Animated properties shouldn’t miss.

Convergence aside, this week’s biggest books from pretty much any publisher are the ’40s’. What are those, you ask? Batman, Superman, and Justice League numbers 40 of course.

Late Autumn is turning out to be quite a season in the comics world as big stuff continues to roll out from the major publishers, and more than a few smaller releases hit ‘can’t miss’ level.

DC has a massive two month event planned with a total of 40 two-part mini-series’ and the comics debut of television writer Jeff King. The best part of all of it? Pretty much all of your favorite characters will play a part- and I do mean all.
