This summer was the final one for Toys R Us in many parts of the world. It’s sad for nostalgic reasons, but also means changes for the toy industry.

It was a surprisingly big SDCC as far as Mattel was concerned, as the toy giant showed off DC, WWE classics, and Jurassic World galore.

With a few Daredevil figure in the bag already, Mezco moves on to the Netflix version. And it just might be the coolest one yet.

NECA might be the most consistently great booth at any con. This SDCC saw awesome stuff from Karate Kid, Ninja Turtles, and lots more.

LEGO had a nice showing at Comic Con, with some surprising new sets. Not just movie stuff, there were also some impressive comic kits.

Mondo is still very much starting to dip into the action figure realm, but as usual what they had to show at Comic Con was impressive.

Always a highlight at SDCC is Hasbro’s sprawling booth, which usually contains within a heaping helping of fresh Marvel Legends.

Let’s take a trip through the Mezco booth at this past SDCC, which focused squarely on the fantastic One:12 Collective line. Think it was impressive?

It’s going to be a big Comic Con for LEGO, who’ll be in attendance with exactly what you’d imagine – a selection of exclusive items from the biggest licenses.

Two classic franchises will be making the San Diego Comic Con for Activision. Expect both Call of Duty and Spyro to be presences.

Another Thor Ragnarok character joins Mezco’s One:12 line with Hela. But honestly, the design is so comic accurate she might as well be from the books too.
