Okay, okay Witcher, we get it; your game is drop-dead gorgeous. If you read our review, you knew that already of course, and also that the third and final Witcher adventure is pretty much one of the best games this (or any other) generation.

And even though there’s an amazingly deep and well-crafted set narrative in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, there’s more than a little reason to go out and explore that world that you just saw in the trailer. This is a game that lets you set your own rules after all, and as the press releases for the game tout “you set your own goals and choose your own destinations” in this one.

Yes, with such a massive world to play in, The Witcher 3 will eat away at your ‘real’ life. But seriously, is that so bad? You can check reality at the door and dive into what’s surely a Game of the Year candidate right now on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
