The first season of Warner Bros’ hit television adaptation of Fallout is coming to physical formats in a few months.
Dropping like a fat man
Video game adaptations, be they for film or TV, haven’t had a very good reputation. Often times they deviate from the source material way too much, making for a viewing experience that pales in comparison to the games they’re based on. In the case of Fallout though, that seems to not quite be the case.
A good chunk why that might be, is probably because Warner Bros and Kilter Films’ Fallout is meant to take place in the same universe as those games. Made in conjunction with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks Todd Howard, it has a shake more authenticity than you usually find. And while it does veer off from what was held as canon in a few key ways, the majority of what’s been produced does have that old familiar feeling.
If you loved what you saw on the small screen when it debuted on Amazon’s Prime Video last spring, then you might want to add that first season to your own physical shelf. That’s just what you’ll be able to do this July, when Fallout: Season One comes home on blu-ray and DVD formats.

Fallout: Season One will hit both blu-ray and DVD on July 8th, and will offer up two distinct versions for each medium. First, there are the standard versions, which will come loaded with all eight episodes of the show. The Amazon-exclusive steelbook editions will add a bit more however, including a set of six Collectible Art Cards.
Also, for those who want a little more out of their physical boxes, there’s a host of special features set to be included as well. Check those out below.
