Are you a Borderlands fan, who was turned off by the bad word of mouth on the big screen adaptation that debuted on August 9th? If you were at all paying attention, then you probably were, since almost all of the press and fan-reaction has been to the negative. So is it a bad movie? From Lionsgate and director Eli Roth, the action flick has just been revealed to have a home video launch date, and it’s way sooner than basically anyone might’ve thought. Yes, that means this very month, which has to be a theater-to-home record for a major studio production.
The movie stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian Munteanu, and film legend Jamie Lee Curtis, and will be landing on digital to own and rent as of August 30th, 2024.
