Nintendo Download: Bleating the Odds

Cult of the Lamb gets its Unholy Alliance update on the Switch this week, plus there’s a new Pokémon addition to the NSO.

Late-summer slowdown

While last week brought quite a few notable games to Nintendo’s console, this period is a little different. The Switch heads firmly back in the late-summertime doldrums for this edition of the Nintendo Download, with only one bigger name dropping, and really no smaller releases to talk about.

The bigger name is, as you can see from the above, Cult of the Lamb. Now, we’re not talking about a sequel or anything here, but instead an update. That’d be the Unholy Alliance, which brings in a new character, as well as a bevy of additional content. So if you’ve been enjoying the game, you might want to hit that update.

Also as mentioned above, there’s a fresh addition to the Nintendo Switch Online arena, with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. Originally released on the Game Boy Advance, the game brings players some now familiar gameplay, sending players into dungeons for some turn-based battlin’.

Along with those two, there’s also some DLC for Dredge, and a list of those smaller releases we mentioned. Though we can’t say we’ve heard of any of those, maybe you have?
