Check out the incredible looking HONŌ Studio Wolverine, in Sideshow’s latest unboxing

What seems to be a phenomenal (comics based) Wolverine is coming up from HONŌ Studio, and Sideshow’s got an in-depth look.

There’s been a heck of a lot of Wolverine stuff hanging around as of late. That makes sense of course, since the superhero celebrated his 50th anniversary this year, and he’s also about to leap to the MCU, co-starring in the big screen flick Deadpool and Wolverine this summer. But if you’re not Wolvie’d out just yet, there’s a collector figure on the horizon that’s looking pretty great.

From toy-maker HONŌ Studio, this new 12″ figure features a slightly exaggerated look, but is otherwise ripped right from the comics. Cast in his classic yellow and blue togs, Logan comes complete with a stand, multiple (swappable) face-sculpts, plus extra hands, claws (natch’), and some effects pieces.

Check him out in the player below, as retailer Sideshow unboxes the iconic X-Man.

Inspired by his classic comic book appearance, the Wolverine 1/6 Scale Action Figure is dressed in a vibrant yellow and blue fabric costume that will stand out on any shelf. This highly poseable figure features silicone-coated arms, which provide an amazingly seamless look. The Wolverine 1/6 Scale Action Figure comes with retractable claws, interchangeable expressions, and accessories. A unique, specially designed backdrop allows fans to add their own comic books to create a distinctive and personalized display.

What are you waiting for, bub? The Wolverine 1/6 Scale Action Figure by HONŌ Studio is available to pre-order now from Sideshow.

Sideshow press release

Wolverine is the first entry in HONŌ Studio’s relatively new line. Coming soon are Magneto, black-costume Spider-Man, and Marvel’s god of thunder, Thor. There are a few really neat hooks to this sixth-scale series too, as HONŌ is focusing on delivering figures that are targeted at collectors, but don’t have super long wait-times and won’t break the bank either.

While they’re still not what we’d call ‘cheap’, each figure is priced in the mid-to-upper hundreds. That can be significantly less than other brands, and you’re still getting a 12″ figure that’s stocked with some cool accessories.

Click here to check out the full line (at Sideshow), or hit the Sideshow links above if you’d like to pre-order Wolverine. He’s priced in at $160 USD.
