Paramount+’s Knuckles “event series” has landed

Sonic the Hedgehog fans have their tide-over until Sonic 3 hits the big screen, with the exclusive Paramount+ Knuckles series.

Knuckle up

It’s still a little hard to believe that there’s a successful Sonic the Hedgehog movie series that’s about to roll into a third big screen outing. That flick will be arriving to close out this year, on December 20th, but if you want more from that movie’s world and you want it right now, then you might want to grab a subscription to Paramount+.

Paramount’s streaming service, Paramount+ just debuted a limited, mini-series event based on the breakout star of Sonic 2, Knuckles. Still voiced by actor Idris Elba, the tough as nails echidna takes center stage in the show, which also intros his extremely unlikely protégé Wade.

Expect loads of comedy, slapstick action, robots, and Knuckles on a motorcycle.

The six part event series takes place between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and follows Knuckles (Idris Elba) as he trains Wade Whipple (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teaches him the ways of the Echidna warrior. However, things take a turn when a mysterious threat decides to steal Knuckles’ incredible powers for his own.

Paramount+ press release

Ready to knuckle up, and joint the crimson echidna to smash some badniks? Knuckles is streaming now in full, exclusively from Paramount+, so you can binge all six episodes at your leisure. Of course, you’ll need a sub to said service, but that’s something you can grab via our link below.
