Spellforce: Conquest of Eo set to cast its magic on consoles

A turn-based title set in a high-fantasy realm, Spellforce: Conquest of Eo will continue the franchise on consoles.

Force of magic

Coming off of the console adaption of Spellforce III and the Re-Forced remaster of that third outing, the Spellforce franchise went in a somewhat different direction for the “Conquest of Eo” spinoff. The newest game in the set, Conquest of Eo features turn-based battles and RPG elements, but it’s a grand 4x strategy game at heart.

Much like with its predecessor Spellforce III, now Conquest of Eo is following the path from PC to consoles. A new adaptation that is optimized for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S is on the way, set to arrive this year.

Here’s a look at it in action:

Embark on a journey from the humble beginnings of your old master’s small wizard tower and traverse the perilous lands of Eo in your ever-changing quest for magical might. Face off against competing factions, sending your armies and heroes on dangerous missions as you accumulate magical knowledge to become the most powerful mage of all time. Explore the vast world of Eo, a magical realm brimming with treasures and resources, inhabited by various races such as humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, goblins, and monsters. Are you ready to experience the ultimate adventure?

THQ Nordic press release

Spellforce: Conquest of Eo doesn’t have a console release date just yet, but it’s in development right now for the aforementioned Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
