The Lost Boys’ vampiric villain David arriving from Sideshow in late 2024

Sideshow is taking it back to one of the biggest ‘vampire movie’ cult classics of all time, with David from The Lost Boys.

Yes, he comes with the container (and chopsticks)

Talk about a film that’s gained in popularity over the years with zero in the way of new content, spin-offs, or anything else. The Lost Boys has been seeing a major renewal in interest in recent years though, as the niche flick continues to find new audiences and fans. So with that, it’s kind of only natural for a company like Sideshow to start producing some merchandise for fans to add to their collections. And for a first-offering, this figure of “David” is pretty awesome.

Sculpted with the likeness of actor Kiefer Sutherland, David includes a ton of accessories, so fans can recreate famous movie-moments on their own shelves. That includes a hand holding chopsticks, and that famous container of Chinese takeout. There’s a heck of a lot more than that though.

Remember, this is Sideshow we’re talking about, so the figure is both loaded with extras and incredible detail. Here’s the first look:

Inspired by the 1987 cult classic film The Lost Boys, the David 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Sideshow masterfully captures the likeness of actor Kiefer Sutherland in his iconic role as leader of a vampiric gang. The figure comes with both a neutral portrait and a fanged vampire portrait, which feature detailed, sculpted hair styled in David’s signature blonde mullet.

David wears a custom-tailored, movie-accurate fabric costume. His outfit is layered with an undershirt, a faux-leather jacket, an overcoat with decorative medals and buttons, and faux-leather pants.

Fans can recreate many memorable scenes from the movie with an enjoyable range of accessories such as three takeout boxes filled with rice, maggots, and worms, plus an ornate wine bottle. The figure also comes with a total of 10 swap-out hands in various gestures including fists, ungloved claws, and a right hand with non-removable chopsticks.

To give collectors even more display options, the figure features swap-out feet including David’s spurred boots, bare clawed feet, and a third option of bare feet for hanging upside down. David can be displayed upside down on the figure stand and comes with a cave ceiling accessory to create a monstrous, gravity-defying pose.

This highly detailed horror action figure is the ultimate collectible for fans of The Lost Boys. Say hello to the night with the David 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Sideshow. Available to pre-order now from Sideshow.com.

Sideshow press release

David is still a ways off, but is set to deliver some frights for a late 2024 release. He’s priced in at $285 USD, and is up for pre-order via the above links.
