Loaded with content, the “Complete Edition” of WWII action title Sniper Elite 5 is inbound for consoles and PC this month.

HEADSHOT

Independent developer Rebellion’s latest World War II adventure behind enemy lines, Sniper Elite 5 is finally done with its post-launch roadmap. And at the end of what’s been a lengthy trail is a Complete Edition so packed with content it should keep newcomers busy for a good long time.

Sniper Elite 5 brings players to D-Day in France, 1944, as hero Karl Fairburne joins a covert US Rangers operation to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the coast of Brittany. There, he contacts the French Resistance, and they begin to uncover a secret Nazi plot that threatens to turn the tide of the war back in the Nazi’s favor: Operation Kraken. It is now down to Karl to reveal exactly what the Axis forces are planning and end Operation Kraken, and the mastermind behind it, Abelard Möller, before it can be launched.

Rebellion press release

If you haven’t been following along with the game’s launch and subsequent updates and DLC, this is clearly the version to get. It’s loaded up with skins, weapons, and missions aplenty, maybe enough to keep you going til the next game in the set.

Included in Sniper Elite 5: Complete Edition is:

  • Full original Sniper Elite 5 game
  • Kraken Awakes Mission, Weapon and Skin Pack
  • Saboteur Weapon and Skin Pack
  • Death From Above Weapon and Skin Pack
  • Rough Landing Mission and Weapon Pack
  • Conqueror Mission, Weapon and Skin Pack
  • Up Close and Personal Weapon and Skin Pack
  • Concealed Target Weapon and Skin Pack
  • Landing Force Mission and Weapon Pack

On top of all of the above, players will also find both 16 player, customizable multiplayer and co-op action in Sniper Elite 5. Speaking of, there’s also a unique multiplayer mode that allows fans to invade each others solo games as Axis snipers. Imagine humming along, taking out Nazi guards, and suddenly being met with an unexpected round from… somewhere, as a real person takes aim at you. Tense.

While it’s set to offer a heck of a lot of action, what you won’t find with this version of the game, is a boxed retail edition. Sniper Elite 5: Complete Edition is digital-only. You can grab a copy for Xbox or PlayStation consoles, as well as the PC. The console versions clock in at $109.99 USD, while the PC version is $99.37.
