What’s real and what’s… something else, in space-faring (and trippy) Lifeless Moon, out now

There is no life in the void, but something weird is definitely happening in 3D platformer Lifeless Moon. It’s out now for the PC.

Life finds a way

Lifeless Moon is definitely not what its name implies. At least, we don’t think it is. Then again, we’re not really sure what the heck is happening in this first look at the newly launched title. Serenity Forge and Lifeless Worlds is setting up a supremely surreal experience though, whatever the truth behind its tale may be.

Check out the trailer below and give not being freaked out a try.

Mysteries await on the desolate moon, unlocking secrets that will help you search for the truth and survive. You follow in the footsteps of the explorers who came before you, and understanding the trauma that befell them may be the key to your return home – analyze riddles, unravel clues and master completely new technologies as you begin to see your new reality on a grander scale. Players will confront a strange phenomenon and tap into its extraordinary creative powers as they seek to unravel the mystery and learn the truth.

Lifeless Moon is the spiritual successor to Lifeless Planet which sprang from cult hit to almost ten million players over the course of its lifetime. Newcomers to the franchise can get both titles in the Lifeless Worlds bundle on Steam.

Serenity Forge press release

Prepare for some high-strangeness. Lifeless Moon is out now for the PC, and heading towards a quarter 1, 2024 launch for consoles.
