Dark Horse’s Star Wars anthology series gets a third collected edition next spring

Trade-waiters will be happy to learn that Dark Horse Comics is continuing its Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories series of paperbacks.

Trilogy

For the uninitiated, Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories is an anthology series published by Dark Horse Comics. While Marvel Comics is still very much in the Star Wars game, Dark Horse is once again a licensee, and one who’s arguably making more interesting stuff.

Hyperspace Stories more or less includes tales from all throughout the sci-fi/fantasy franchise’s timeline. That’s to say that it jumps from The Clone Wars to The Original Trilogy, and even works in some Bad Batch stuff. There really doesn’t appear to be anything that’s ‘off limits’ for the publisher to include, and if you’re looking for variety, it seems a good bet.

Along with the core series, Dark Horse has been binding issues together in lots of four, for a series of trade paperbacks. It’s a book series that’ll be continuing next spring with Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories Volume 3—Light and Shadow.

The Galaxy is a wild and dangerous place!

Dark Horse’s inaugural Star Wars anthology series concludes in this third thrilling volume, with 4 more action filled tales of galactic adventure for all ages!

On the Outer Rim, Jedi like Quinlan Vos, Yoda, and Mace Windu struggle to contain the spreading fires of the Clone Wars, while the clones of the Bad Batch just struggle to make it through the day. And on the forest moon of Endor, the heroes of the Rebellion look back at their greatest triumph.

Dark Horse Comics press release

Bringing together issues 9-12 of the standalone book, fans can look for Light and Shadow to hit bookstores on April 16th, 2024. Comic shops will get the title as well, which’ll be happening on the very next day, with an April 17th launch planned.
