Robosen launches sweeps for ultra rare Optimus Prime transforming figures

You’ve seen the incredible assortment of auto-transforming Optimus Primes from Robosen? Want to win one? How about a “golden” one? Sure you do.

The Golden Prime

If you’re an action figure fan, let alone a Transformers fan, you’ve no doubt seen Robosen’s officially licensed Optimus Prime. If for some reason you haven’t, then you’ve missed one of the coolest Transformers toys of all time.

That’s because the figure actually auto-converts. And unlike many other Transformers figures that’ve tried that gimmick in the past, it actually looks good, and transforms smoothly. On top of that, Robosen’s Primes can also talk, and are fully programmable.

The figure comes in two flavors, the Limited Edition Flagship Optimus Prime and the Elite Optimus Prime. There isn’t much difference between the two, other than the fact that the Elite model is a little smaller (and less expensive).

Well, now that original version is available in a new color – gold. That’s to say, if you can win one. Only 9 pieces will be made available globally, and to take one home to your own collection you’ll have to enter and win Robosen’s new Strike Gold Sweepstakes.

As mentioned there, the prizes are both super-limited and awesome. They include nine pieces of the gold-painted Optimus Prime, and one of the original Elite model autographed by the great voice of Prime himself, actor Peter Cullen.

Want to enter? You bet you do. Here’s how:

  • Purchase an Elite Optimus Prime, fill out the Proof of Purchase form and upload your receipt. Retailers include: Robosen.com, GameStop, Entertainment Earth, BigBadToyStore, and in select Inmotion airport stores.

 -OR-

  • No purchase necessary. Simply print & fill out the Mail-In form and mail it to the P.O. Box listed on the form.

Click here to check out the official page for the contest, complete with both versions of the entry form. The contest is open now, and will run through December 31st, 2022, at 11:59pm eastern time.
