McFarlane Blue Beetle/Booster Gold 2 pack landing in November

Announced over the weekend and set for a release this fall, two of DC Comics’ biggest fan favorite heroes are joining McFarlane’s lineup.

Blue Beetle and Booster Gold seem like one of the best-loved, yet most-forgotten about DC Comics team-ups. The pair of heroes have been around for a long time at this point, and still are often passed over when it comes to new comic runs, movies, games, toys… whatever.

Maybe that’s not completely fair, since eventually DC Comics toy lines do seem to get around to them. And in the case of McFarlane’s DC Multiverse series, it’s thankfully sooner than later.

Just announced as a special 2-pack, good buddies Booster and Beetle will indeed be joining the current 7″ scale DC lineup. Cast in the usual style for Multiverse, the figures will feature McFarlane’s modern level of articulation, and some pretty great sculpts.

As with all of the company’s 2-packs too, they’ll include a base along with their accessories. Speaking of, those are pretty neat, as the box will come packaged with a grapple gun (for Beetle), and a snap-on energy blast and cell phone (for Booster). There’s also what’s being tagged as a “drone” included, but it looks an awful lot like Skeets, Boosters’ little robotic pal from the future. So that’s pretty cool.

Priced in at $39.99 USD, the pack is scheduled to ship this November, and is currently up for pre-order. That includes via our sponsors at Entertainment Earth, and you can grab a pre-order there by clicking this link.
