Wolverine’s nemesis gets his own series in February with Sabertooth #1

A long-time X-Men villain is heading back to the pages of Marvel Comics with a brand new limited series. Sabertooth arrives this February.

If you’ve been following the saga that is the current version of the X-Men in Marvel Comics, then you know that Sabertooth isn’t exactly in good standing. That might seem obvious, though it’s worth mentioning that it shouldn’t be.

On the contrary, all of mutant-kind lives in relative peace on the island of Krakoa (as of right now). That includes the villains, who regardless of what atrocities they’ve committed, seem to be welcomed with open arms. Sabertooth is an exception though, and has been banished to a lifetime of imprisonment. Or, he was.

Seems Victor Creed is out, and ready to rip and tear once again. Apparently it’s not so easy to keep a crazed psychopath down.

After being exiled in the pages of HOUSE OF X, Victor Creed will return this February in an all-new limited series written by novelist Victor LaValle and drawn by artist Leonard Kirk. SABRETOOTH will reveal the dark truth behind Krakoan justice as readers see what happened after Sabretooth went into the Pit, sentenced to an eternity of torment. What’s he been doing down there? What secret deal has changed his fate forever? And what if he’s not alone? The debut issue of this chilling saga will receive four extraordinary covers by top artists including Ryan Brown, Mico Suayan, and Todd Nauck, all showcasing Victor Creed at his most dangerous.

Sabertooth #1, the first issue of a limited series (of unannounced length), lands on the stands on February 2nd, 2022.
