Yo Joe June ends with a bang, as Mezco reveals One:12 Roadblock

The G.I. Joe team’s heavy machine gunner is joining the new Joe One:12 Collective sub-line, and Roadblock is packing enough heat to level Cobra.

If you didn’t know, June 2021 was “Yo Joe June” according to Hasbro. The toy company peppered the month with a few pre-orders, as well as the official launch of the Target exclusive Major Blood, and a set if reissues (coming soon). It was a good, if not all that explosive, month for Joe fans.

Bringing up the rear though, is an announcement from Mezco that frankly might be better than anything else the month saw. As you can see from the title of this article, that’d be Roadblock.

Yes, yes, I know there are a bunch of G.I. Joe Classified ‘Block’s either out now or coming up. He’s one of the most visited characters in the young line, bordering on overkill. This figure from Mezco though, a part of the One:12 Collective, is just so great that it’s tough not to get excited for it.

Mezco has a Roadblock in the works that’s as close to perfect as it gets. He’s perfectly reflective of the iconic figure from the 80s, but with enough accessories and weapons to turn Cobra island to dust all by himself.
