Dark Horse Comics will be bringing the world of Cyberpunk 2077 to life in comic form, set to hit stands before the hugely anticipated game.
2077 in 2020
I’m sure I don’t have to tell you much about Cyberpunk 2077 the game. Based on the tabletop RPG and published by CD Project Red, Cyberpunk has taken forever to actually make it to consoles. It actually just got nudged back again too, though only from September to November 19th.
Still, that means that Dark Horse Comics’ comic book adaptation will make it to print a few months before the game. Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team will be a four-part mini-series and will kick off on September 9th.
Featuring the talents of Cullen Bunn and Miguel Valderrama, the book will explore a corporation called Trauma Team. And of course, that name seems like it might be just a tad misleading…
Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team welcomes you into a world a deceit, greed, and desolation. Nadia, a citizen of Night City and the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission for the Trauma Team International corporation. After she agrees to continue work for an upcoming extraction mission, Nadia and her new team find themselves in an even more dangerous and life-threatening situation. Soon they’ll discover Trauma Team is not what it seems.
