A fresh content drop has arrived for Activision and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and the best part is that it’s free.
Back to the war
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward’s reinvention of the classic series of FPS’, hasn’t been out all that long, but even so it’s about to get its first infusion of fresh content. The content is a part of a plan for the game, that’ll see much more hitting in the near future.
Activision says that Infinity Ward will be “releasing a mix of free content, along with fun community events and celebrations regularly”. They add that this is just the beginning too, so expect to be with Modern Warfare for a while.
As for this first offering though, it’s pretty meaty. The pack is stocked with new maps, a new mode, a new playlist, and a set of bug fixes.
The content drop includes:
- New maps: Krovnik Farmland to Ground War and Shoot House to Multiplayer
- New mode: Hardpoint
- New playlist: Shoot House 24/7! This includes a mixture of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters
- Bug fixes
The new content is available for all versions of the game right now. So fire up your platform of choice and dive back into the battle.
