First look screens of WWE 2K20 released

This year’s WWE title from 2K is officially on the way. The game had its first look today, with just a pair of screens, so there’s plenty more to come.

Let’s get ready to rumble

This seemed to take a heck of a lot longer than WWE announcements usually do. I seem to remember getting announcements more around mid-June than late July. Not that it matters now though, since WWE 2K20 is finally official.

Landing later this year, 2K20 actually has some big boots to fill. WWE 2K19 was a sharp grappler, with a terrific creation sweet that allowed for player-made superstars to be downloaded. One of the biggest issues I have with buying a new grappling title every year is that I have to make my favorite legends all over again. This feature effectively eliminated that.

While it’s probably safe to assume that little feature will return, it’s just a small part of what we don’t know yet about WWE 2K20. That is to say, publisher 2K really hasn’t revealed anything yet.

From the screenshots that we got today, we know that the game will feature Brock Lesnar and Bayley, but that’s it. There was no accompanying description, so fans will be in the dark for a little while yet.

Fortunately the twin images also tell us when to expect to see a little more about the game, that being August 5th. So, basically, stay tuned.
