Udon rolls on with its pinup series in the Street Fighter 2019 Pin-Up Special #1. The book hits in June, but you can get a peek at the covers now.

Udon’s got another pinup book all set for launch, though this year’s eschews the “swimsuit” designation. But even so, it’s once again its starring the guys and gals of Capcom’s premier fighter.
Street Fighter 2019 Pin-Up Special #1 will showcase the work of a total of 22 artists. Also kind of neat, is that almost all of them are new to the publishing house. But even so, none are Street Fighter newbies, as Udon says they’ve assembled a stable of fans here. And that includes the artists working on the slate of covers.
Udon always produces a list of variants for its special issues, and this one’s no different. Included on the roster of creators are:
- David Liu
- Asia Ladowska
- cre.o.n.
- Rob ‘Robaato’ Porter
Porter is an “Udon mainstay” according to the company, and looks to be the only artist on the project who’s worked for the publisher before. His covers are the “bride” costume Chin-Li, as well as the “shadow” variant, exclusive to FocusAttack.com.
While we’re on the subject, Texas shop Kirby’s Comics has an exclusive variant as well. It’s the Chun-Li and Laura “team-up” cover that you see in the gallery, also penciled by Porter.
As for when you’ll be able to actually go out and pick one (or al) of these up, that’d be this June. The Street Fighter 2019 Pin-Up Special #1 lands on June the 5th.
