Coming up: The games of February 2019

A surprisingly stacked month, loaded with some very big releases, this month delivers Crackdown 3, Metro: Exodus, Far Cry: New Dawn and more.

Deep winter

The coldest time of the year is usually not all that great for new games. Usually. These months come along right after the Holidays, and more often than not, all the biggest games hit retail then.

Over the last few years though, we’ve seen some gems arriving in January and February. Last year was loaded with them, and the year is honestly not all that different.

So far, we’ve gotten Resident Evil 2, a remake that will probably be remembered come GotY time next year. So what’s still to come? Plenty. And the 15th in particular is looking to be a barn-burner of a launch date.
