Kabal returns for Mortal Kombat 11

One of Mortal Kombat’s less known kombatants, Kabal makes the jump to the upcoming MK11. Have a look at him in action in the latest trailer.

Kabal Kombat

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today unveiled a new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer featuring Kabal, a former Black Dragon enforcer turned Revenant. Known for his lightning fast speed, deadly Hook Swords and reliance on an artificial respirator for survival, Kabal was resurrected as a twisted, evil version of himself, who now serves the Netherrealm and pledges to destroy all other realms.

NetherRealm press release

Man that might be the goriest Fatality yet. Then again, I seem to be saying this a lot with the latest MK game. Then again, I could probably watch the last trailer and stay the same thing. Point being, this is a bloody fighting game.

As for Kabal here, he’s never been a favorite of mine. I’m sure he has his fans, don’t get me wrong. He generally seems like he might be one of the lesser appreciated characters in the series though. Nevertheless, he’s looking pretty awesome, complete with twin swords and wicked, fast-as-lightning Fatality.

Landing on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Mortal Kombat 11 will arrive at retail on April 23rd.
