Metro Exodus will indeed have a special edition, in the form of the Aurora Edition. A steelbook, art book and more will be included.
That train is a rolling into the pre-order station. As you can see too, there’s some actual cool stuff included. You get the steelbook, which is always nice and is exclusive to this set. But then you also get a 32 page art book, and the expansion pass. Not bad at all for $89.99 USD, especially if you were planning on getting the pass anyway.
Apparently too, no matter which version of Metro Exodus you order, there are some goodies to be had for those who do so ahead of launch. Those who order the Xbox One copy might be the best off, as they get a copy of Metro 2033 Redux as well, on the house.
Pre-ordering on a PS4? Then you get a “Dynamic Theme based on the Metro Exodus ‘Winter’ artwork.” And finally, if you’re getting the physical edition of the PC version (yes, there is one), you’ll get both a digital art book and soundtrack.
That’s cool stuff all around, though again I think I have to point out that the Xbox One is the best option. As I can see it anyway.
Metro Exodus will hit stores and digital storefronts on February 22nd, 2019.
