SDCC 2018: Dark Horse goes all-in on Tom Clancy’s The Division

Publisher Dark Horse Comics will be producing both an art and “lore” book based on The Division games, and a comic series.

Activate The Division

Next year will really be your year if you’re a fan of Ubisoft’s (semi)post-apocalyptic series. Not only is there a sequel on the way from the publisher, but there’ll be plenty of supporting material as well. That’s thanks to Dark Horse Comics, who’ve made some pretty big announcements about the license this week at Comic Con.

The first, is that Dark Horse will be producing a book that will look at both the art and the lore behind the Clancy-inspired world that Ubi has created.

Millions lay dead in the aftermath of a catastrophic biological attack, and the disease continues to spread. With infrastructure in ruins and D.C. on the brink of collapse, the agents of the Division are called to action as the only hope to restore order. If the agents fail, the nation will fall. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn all there is to know about the tactical methods, the high-tech tools, and the all-important mission of the Division!

Aside from that, there will also be a comic book series, though there’s no information about that just yet. We do know that it will arrive in 2019 however, right along with the book. Watch for The World of Tom Clancy’s The Division to hit stores on March 19, 2019.
