NECA reveals new Crash Bandicoot figure

The rebirth of Crash continues with NECAs new Crash Bandicoot figures. The company revealed the main marsupial himself today – complete with poseable eyebrows.

Whoa!

Last year, we got The N.Sane Trilogy, a gorgeous re-do of the original three Crash Bandicoot video games. So far in 2018, we’ve heard rumors that the compilation might be coming to the Switch, and that a new game (or something) might not be too far off either. And now? Now we get a brand spankin’ new series of Crash toys.

These new figures from NECA will be in stores this year, and begin with Crash himself. NECA is pretty easily one of the best collector action figure companies out there right now, so to get a Crash line is particularly cool.

Standing at 5.5″ tall, Crash looks to have multiple points of articulation on his body, arms and legs. Oh, and eyebrows. Yes, Crash has fully poseable eyebrows thanks to a set of ball-joints. They’ll allow you to make all those barely sane facial expressions that the character is known for.

As for accessories, Crash is packed with one that we know of- a crate. Apparently, there’s a papercraft (well, cardboard-craft) crate in the clamshell packaging with him. Pretty neat, but I’m hoping that we get some inclusions like the old school line had. That being wumpa fruit and of course, Aku Aku.

Watch for Crash to lead the way for the new line this May.
