Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite received a new trailer, boasting details about its story campaign, preorder bonuses and a September release.
The Facts
Released April 25, the new trailer revealed the game’s antagonists and elements of its story. Combining their strength, Ultron from “The Avengers” and Sigma of “Megaman X” fuse to form Ultron Sigma, leading an all out assault against the heroes of both universes. They take on several characters from the game’s roster in a cinematic battle: Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye and The Hulk from the Marvel side, as well as Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, Strider Hiryu and X from Capcom.
The trailer ends with the reveal that the game will release September 19, 2017. Players can receive preorder bonuses by reserving the game early, including the chance to have Sigma as a playable character. A collector’s edition was also revealed, offering four stone statues of Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Chun-Li and X as well as infinity stone replicas with LED effects for $200.
