Nintendo Switch Presentation Airs January 12, 2017

Catch everything to do at the Nintendo Switch Presentation, airing January 12, 2017 at 8 P.M. PT.

Nintendo Switch PresentationNintendo’s latest console announcement came with a drought of solid information.  The portable home console looks sleek, sure, and the ability to take your latest big games on the go (and then seamlessly put them back on the television) is alluring, but beyond a three minute tease and a smorgasbord of rumors, we’re not left with much.

That all changes on January 12, 2017, when Nintendo airs a Nintendo Switch Presentation.  While there’s no confirmation yet on what we can expect, “the moment you’ve been waiting for” will no doubt show off the latest in games, confirm and deny handfuls of rumors, and lend the speculation trains more passengers.  Release date and price are possible, but I’m guessing we’ll be waiting on the price until closer to release.  Which means games, games, games.  That new Mario is looking sweet, and rumors are pegging it at co-operative play with a hub world (rumors, or wishful thinking?  Tough to keep them straight), and ports of Super Smash Bros, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8 seem likely (complete with new features).  And The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will surely take our breath away.

Of course, we’ll no doubt see some new titles as well, and you can bet we’ll cover them when the Nintendo Switch Presentation airs.

Catch the Nintendo Switch Presentation on January 12, 2017, at 8 P.M. PT at Nintendo.com/Switch.
