The Sims play doctor in new update

The latest Sims Freeplay update adds in the doctor and nurse professions, and more.

Doctor, doctor!

Sims Freeplay now as a total you there additions to its professions mode, with the new Doctor Doctor update. EA says that the profession track was one of the most requested inclusions from fans, and the aim to please.

The update, which is free of course, includes the two careers, as well as a two level hospital to explore, right in the heart of the downtown area. That’s where it’s all happening you know.

Here’s your feature-set:

• Choosing a career specialty as a Doctor or Nurse while caring for patients at the Sim Town Hospital;
• Surviving a Sim’s first shift as an Intern while taking  on various roles, such as a Care Assistant or Candy Striper;
• Working a Sim’s way up to the top  as a Chief Nurse or world-class Chief Surgeon;
• Earning resources to expand the hospital, including a Pharmacy, Psychiatrist’s Office and Radiology Center with new X-Ray Machine.

Along with the professional update, Sim Town now has a pair of new areas. The new train station and downtown map are both in the pack, though you have to complete a little exploration to get to the train. Starting on September 6th, the Train Station Discovery Quest will allow your Sims to catch a ride. You know, so long as they can find the station.
