Valiant Comics issue three more teasers on 2016’s biggest books

There’s lots to like from Valiant in 2016, and the publisher has released three more teaser images to accompany that Bloodshot Island one from this morning that prove that point.

2015’s excellent Divinity gets a sequel (with another possibly godlike character thrown into the mix), Archer & Armstrong get another solo book, and Ninjak looks like he’s going to have his hands full with the Siege of King’s Castle event.

Going to be a big year. If you’re not already a fan, Valiant has pumped out some of the most consistently enjoyable superhero (and sci-fi really) reads since its relaunch a few years ago. Their stable of characters is ever changing and kept fresh and exciting by a near constant shift into new territory and pretty short runs for books. You’re not too likely to see many of Valiant’s titles get into the hundreds to be blunt, and that’s a measured strategy from the publisher, it isn’t due to lack of ideas or quality.

This also makes their line super-friendly for new readers. And their trademarked style of getting ‘jumping on’ points out the door on a regular basis throughout the year is a big part of that too. New arcs feel big, and that’s pretty cool to see.

I’m a fan of what they’re doing, what can I say. Have a look at what’s on tap in the gallery below and hit this link to check out Bloodshot Island.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
