Rovio Entertainment LTD, the company behind smash hit Angry Birds has announced it will reduce its workforce by 2013 positions.
In an official statement, posted on the companies website Rovio are restructuring to concentrate on games, media and consumer products.
Personally job losses anywhere are never a good thing, but with Rovio promising to offer career support for those who are unfortunate to lose their position, there is at-least some comfort to take away. I can’t see Rovio going anywhere anytime soon, but it will be a nervous few months for the company.
