The most infamous killer of all time is coming to the next Assassin’s Creed title as Ubisoft announces an expansion pack that’ll set you against the Ripper himself.
Expanding the story of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in some interesting ways is Jack the Ripper, who’ll be set against the game’s anti-heroes in a big way. Well, I think he’ll be facing the Assassins from the campaign, but I’m not really sure thanks to the fact that the expansion takes place some two decades past the end of the base title.
Tracing the horrific events of the Ripper murders in the Autumn of 1888, you’ll be joining forces with Inspector Frederick Abberline and will play a little game of cat and mouse, hunting the killer himself. But this isn’t the only expansion on the way, as Ubisoft has also detailed the rest of the season, which will all be included in the Season Pass.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Jack The Ripper campaign
- The Last Maharaja mission pack: Discover ten brand-new missions set within London, and join Duleep Singh to reclaim his birthright as the Maharaja. In his quest to reclaim his heritage, he will take on the Templars and test his friendship with the queen.
- A Long Night exclusive mission: Help Jacob track down an endangered fellow gang member and bring him back to the hideout in a fast-paced, wild, and dangerous ride.
- Streets of London gameplay pack: Gain access to over one hour of extra gameplay via new missions, and obtain additional weapons, gear, and outfits.
- Two top-tier sets of gear and weapons: Give your arsenal a steam-powered twist with the Steampunk Pack, and immerse yourself in the most famous novels of the Victorian era with the Victorian Legends Pack. Both sets include state-of-the art gear and weapons, as well as a new outfit.
- Exclusive XP boost: All Season Pass holders receive an exclusive permanent XP boost.
While we do know what’s in it, the Season Pass’ content hasn’t been dated yet, so stay tuned for that news. As for now, you can start counting down the days as Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 23rd, before coming to the PC on November 19th.
