LEGO Dimensions triples the building with its expansion kits

Vehicles will have a total of three possible builds in the upcoming LEGO Dimensions, oh, and there are some more character announcements too. Yes… more.

Pretty neat, in that LEGO kits in the real world have always had multiple builds as one of their selling points. And, unless I’m mistaken, there used to be examples give in the instruction booklets for them… well, either way, all that build, rebuild, re-rebuild fun is going to the video game edition of the popular block toys too.

And hand in hand with that announcement, are a few more reveals in the way of characters and themes that’ll be appearing in the game. You already know about a bunch of them, like Scooby Doo, Doctor Who, Jurassic World, Back to the Future, and more- but now we know that Ghostbusters and ‘Midway Arcade’ will be not he way as well. As for Ghostbusters, I’m already sold on that one, but I’m hoping against hope that there’s going to be a lil’ Scorpion from Mortal Kombat in there somewhere… well it did say Midway Arcade, I can dream.

LEGO Dimensions is on the way to consoles this Fall, arriving on September 29th, 2015.
