Happy Easter from the littlest Skylanders

There’s a pair of Easter themed Skylanders characters and even a themed trap on the shelves, and they’d like to wish you a happy holiday in this new video from Activision.

I know they’re just repaints, but I really dig the holiday variants of Activision’s Skylanders toys. I have a couple of Easter and Christmas ones and they’re good fun. Better of course, if the color changes actually reflect in the game, which sadly the Halloween Eye Brawl does not.

Both new minis here do have in-game looks to match their new real-world toys though, with Power Punch Pet Vac and and Eggcellent Weeruptor both making the jump. Also kind of neat looking is the new ‘Earth Trap’ that’s available. the alt look sees the trap shaded to look like an Easter Bunny, complete with a little basket that he’s sitting in.

All three items should be available now-to-soon. Just in time to be added to that basket you’re no doubt crafting for someone… or yourself. Happy Easter!
