Wow does The Valiant look awesome in issue #2

Valiant Comics’ The Valiant mini-series is looking like a supernatural action epic in the second issue, due out in January.

The Immortal Enemy has crawled out from the black depths of history to destroy this generation’s Geomancer and send Earth back to the Dark Ages! Now…the Eternal Warrior, Ninjak, and Kay McHenry must overcome their worst nightmares before the unlikeliest of white knights rides in to save the day. Will he be enough to battle back the unyielding evil that threatens to plunge the Valiant Universe into the darkness?

If you liked the looks of the first issue of The Valiant (which will be out December 10th), then wait till you see what the publisher and writers Jeff Lemire and Matt Kindt have in store for the follow up. Quite frankly, it looks like the duo and artist Paolo Rivera are crafting a horror/action epic with The Eternal Warrior and Unity at the center.

I absolutely love the contrast of a high-tech hero like Bloodshot being pitted against a supernatural horror too, as he gets drafted into Unity’s war on the beast that would send Earth back to the pits of the Dark Ages. The four-issue series kicks off in December and then continues on January 21st in issue #2.
