NASCAR: Redline breaks for iOS

Eutechnyx’ NASCAR series is speeding onto iOS with a mobile Chase for the Sprint Cup in NASCAR: Redline.

Redline is actually sounding like a pretty deep racing experience for Nascar fans too, as producer Terry Lee explains.

“NASCAR is unique among motorsports and racing games; it’s about more than just the action on the track,” remarked Terry Lee, Producer at Eutechnyx. “It’s about choices – the decisions made behind the wheel and under the hood – fine tuning not just your vehicle, but your strategy for victory, taking control of the race and pushing beyond the stretch of asphalt in front of you. These are elements we’ve focused on which really propel NASCAR: Redline past other racers in the pack.”

The game touts 43 different drivers, as well as the teams, sponsors, and tracks from the 2013 season that you’d expect to be in there. Eutechnyx says that this is a genuine Sprint Cup experience and that you’ll have to think strategically as well as have nimble fingers if you want to win and secure the Cup.

NASCAR: Redline is available right now on iOS for devices using iOS 5.1 and over. You can also expect to see Redline coming some time soon for Android platforms, though there’s no release date as of yet for that.
