The adventure begins next week in Dragon’s Crown

Atlus’ gorgeous fantasy brawler is almost here, have a look at the latest trailer after the break.

A throwback to the side-scrolling action titles of yore (Did I use that right?), Dragon’s Crown is a total feast for the eyes with what look to be excellent graphics and art direction. Taking place in an original high-fantasy universe filled with orcs, dragons and the monsters of all sorts, Dragon’s Crown is a title that old school gamers should feel right at home with.

The game will be exclusive to the PS3 and PS Vita and will sell for $49.99 and $39.99 respectively. You might want to get in a last minute preorder too, because pre-sells are set to include a full color 64 page art book. And if you actually watched the above trailer, then you know that’s a tome that you really don’t want to miss.

Dragon’s Crown arrives on both the PS3 and Vita on August 6th.
